Virginia L. Hundley, 99, passed away September 1, 2023, at the Tonaquint Beehive Homes in St. George, Utah.
Virginia was born in Provo, Utah, the daughter of Henry A. Loy and Della Brown Loy. She married Don J. Hundley in June 1942.
She and Don raised their family in Provo, Utah, but relocated to St. George after retirement. Both Virginia and Don volunteered at Dixie Medical Center for numerous years. Virginia loved to cook and bake, and her family has wonderful memories of coming home on Mondays to the smell of fresh baked bread and rolls.
She is preceded in death by her husband Don, her daughter Donna, sisters Geraldine Wilson of Orem, Utah; Pauline Prestwich of Lindon, Utah; and brother William, also of Orem, Utah.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Vickie Weir (Charles) of Santa Clara, Utah; Debra Swan (Eddie) of Thornton, Colorado, her brother Leland Loy of Clovis, California; six grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A private, family-only "Celebration of Life" will be conducted at a later date.
