Virginia Passey

Virginia Johnson Passey of Saint George, Utah passed away suddenly at Dixie Regional Medical Center January 23, 2015 of heart failure. Virginia was born March 28, 1937 in Saint Paul MN to Verne L. Johnson and Shirley Johnson (Truman).
After her father's untimely death, Virginia and her mother moved to Los Gatos, CA when she was a young girl. Virginia married briefly Jack Passey of Watsonville, CA. Virginia and her mother moved several times, AK, TX, and AZ before settling in Saint George in 1988.
Virginia was a Christian Scientist and her faith was a strong and guiding light in her life.
An unconditionally loving, selfless, and giving person, Virginia spread light and love where ever she went. She impacted many with her selfless love of family, caring for her mother Shirley and her aunts throughout their lives.
Virginia was an avid animal lover and supported many animal causes and for most of her life she shared her home with a cat. Joey and Frannie were particularly dear to her heart. Whether it was feeding the ducks at the park, or watching dogs, cats and other animals at play, Virginia marveled at the absolute pure joy and innocence of all God's creations.
Petite and poised, always looking perfect Virginia enjoyed traveling and loved the fashion industry and keeping up with the latest trends.
Virginia is survived by her cousin Laurel Newtson (Greg) of Plymouth, MN and John Lowe her life Partner of Saint George.
Virginia will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
A service to celebrate her life will be held, date not yet determined.
