Wade Chesnut

Wade Eugene Chesnut is now among Angels and family in Heaven. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 28, 2014 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 10, 1946 to Adrian and Leona Chesnut in National CIty, California. He married the love of his life Linda Schamens on November 17, 1967 in San Diego, Ca. Wade received an AS degree in accounting from Southwestern College in San Diego County and attended San Diego State University. He worked for and retire from NAVAL Supply Center, San Diego as a Computer Specialist in 2004. After he retired, he and Linda moved to Washington, Utah. Wade was an avid Padre and San Diego Chargers fan. He loved bowling in various bowling leagues and the comrade and friendships he would gain while bowling. He is survived by his wife Linda, children Paula (Washington, UT), Timothy (National City, CA), and Dennis (La Mesa, CA), and 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother. The family would like to thank Dr. La Rowe and staff, Dr. Te and staff, Dr. Whiting, Would Clinic, IV Therapy for their care over the past years. Also to Alliance Hospice, thank you for helping us and Wade through this transition period. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Trinity Lutheran Church 2260 E. Red Cliff Drive, St. George, UT 84790 or Alliance Hospice 491 E Riverside Dr, St George, UT 84790. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 1:30pm at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
