Walter Joseph "Joe" Moore

Walter Joseph Moore age 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 27, 2021 in St. George Utah.

He was born on September 22, 1939 to parents J.P. Adam Moore and Maude Elisibeth Rose Smith.

He married Gwendolyn Harper on December 10, 1982.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and appreciated many special occasions such as family reunions and Holidays.

He also loved hunting, fishing and camping with family. He passed his love and knowledge of outdoorsman-ship to his children, grandchildren, nephews and extended family. Golfing with his close friends was a regular and fun hobby.

Joe and Gwyn joined an RV Club where they made many fond memories of cherished friendships, and travel experiences.

They loved going to NASCAR Races and BlueGrass Festivals, especially in the Smokey Mountains where Joe was raised and held close to his heart.

Joe is survived by his wife Wife Gwendolyn Harper Moore, brothers Robert, Ray, sister Rose, son Marshall Joel, grandchildren Candida, Penny, Cullen, Kristy, Jason, Nikolaus , John Paul, and extended close family (daughter) Carol & husband Leo Contreras.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Marshall, Ernest, son James Timothy, daughter Deborah Leigh, and Sena (1st wife).

The family extends sincere gratitude to the medical team at Intermountain Healthcare Hospital for their exceptional care which was combined with true compassion.

In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation in loving memory of his beloved dogs Cassie and Annie to any Charity supporting animal welfare.

The family will hold a private graveside service on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Washington City Cemetery.
