William Riddell

William Jennings Riddell passed away April 19, 2016 in St. George, Utah
He was born December 8, 1932 in Pocatello, Idaho to William Frank Riddell and Ellen Pearl Olsen.
He proudly served in the United States Navy and as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints he served an honorable mission in New Zealand.
After retiring from Kennecott Copper and moving to St. George, he married Mary Garff in 2001. He occupied his time serving in the St. George Temple and as a crossing guard, where he had great joy helping children. In his spare time you would often find him fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Garff; his first wife Nola Sherrod and their 5 children; Kristi Peterson, Brenda (Ben) Glanzman, Troy Riddell and Karen (Andy) Hawks; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sibling Donna Jorn
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Joanne Forrester; Marlene Jacobsen; and son Bryan Riddell
A Viewing will be held Friday, April 22 from 5-6:30 in St George Morningside 7th Ward 881 S. River Road
Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 23 at the Bountiful Cemetery 2224 S. 200 W. Bountiful, Utah at 2pm.
