Zelda Mary Jensen Lund of St. George, Utah peacefully returned to her beloved Savior and loved ones on January 8 2012.
She was born April 17 1913 in Salem, Idaho, the daughter of George William Harris and Ida Jensen Harris. She married Earl Eugene Jensen September 21, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. He proceeded her in death September 18 1982. She married W. Guy Lund in Provo, Utah. He proceeded her in death September 1984. She married Doyle G. Wilkins in Mesa, Arizona July 1990. He proceeded her death . She was reared and educated in Idaho. She graduated from Ricks College with an Associate's degree in education. She was active in the LDS church and served in various callings: Primary, Sunday school, Relief Society and Stake positions. She also served as an organist in the Mesa, Temple. Surviving are four sons: Galen E. Jensen, Santa Clara, UT; Kenard H. Jensen, Roseville, CA; Garth W. Jensen, Titusville, FL; D. Martel Jensen, Ivins, UT; and daughter Lowana J. Finch, Henderson, NV., nineteen grandchildren, forty two great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are: a brother, Merlin Harris, Pocatello, ID; two sisters, Winona (Melvin) Bean, Sugar City, ID and Opal (John) Baily, Cody, WY. Proceeded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2:00p.m. at the St. George First Ward Meeting house located at 591 W. 500 N. A Viewing will be Friday, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM. Prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be Monday January 16, 2012 at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch in Ogden. Zelda will be remember for her life of unfailing faith, charity, service to others and boundless love for our Savior.
